eROCKIT – the green bike project

With spring just around the corner, it makes sense to ditch the car for a bike. Sounds too much like exercise? For those still stuck in couch potato land, eROCKIT has the perfect solution. Find out more in our interview with the project’s founder, Stefan. eROCKIT offers an ingenious solution for reluctant cyclists. Could you summarise what your bike-based project is all about?

The key idea was to get a basic bicycle up to motorcycle speed – without losing key bicycle characteristics. Equipped with both pedals and a very powerful engine, the eROCKIT easily outstrips regular e-bikes (with a max. output of 250 – 500W): At 8000W, our design offers a different level of performance and power on the street.

Since you control the speed through the pedals, it feels like riding a regular bike – while going a lot faster.
